We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to join our team at the Gene B. Glick Company, Inc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the physical condition of our properties and ensuring resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities:- Complete all maintenance requests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Diagnose problems and make repairs in HVAC systems.
- Repair and maintain electrical circuits, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
- Install and repair carpeting and tile.
- Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures such as water heaters, lavatories, toilets, and dishwashers.
- Maintain lawns, grounds, landscaping, and parking lots, including snow removal.
- Repair and maintain building exteriors and roofs.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities.
- Clean and maintain common areas and vacant units.
- Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready condition.
- Provide emergency support to residents after office hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- Demonstrated ability or experience in the maintenance field is desirable.
- Must maintain EPA certification.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
- Able to work overtime and respond to emergency calls.
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
