Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diagnostic Ultrasound Examination Specialist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech), you will be responsible for conducting multi-specialty diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to departmental procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations for various medical specialties.
  • Work under the direction of experienced staff sonographers and medical directors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and facility staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology program.
  • Requires national certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent.
  • Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty, RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent for Cardiac/Vascular, required within 18 months of hire.
  • BLS certification required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
