The primary responsibilities of a Cybersecurity Tools Specialist include:

  • Acting as a subject matter expert within the HP Enterprise Security Operations organization

  • Defining standard operating procedures and workflows for processes used by other teams

  • Supporting and contributing to the development and maintenance of custom tooling needed by the organization

  • Managing configuration, deployments, integration, and updates of commodity security tools across HP's cloud and on-premise infrastructure

  • Assisting HP cybersecurity with tasks best solved by automation

An ideal candidate for this role would possess:

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience

  • Experience in a Cybersecurity domain such as incident response, threat intelligence, or vulnerability management

  • Proficiency in writing code/scripts in modern languages, preferably Python

  • Experience maintaining Windows and Linux server environments

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively at all levels of an organization
