About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to provide exceptional patient care and support our team in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation to maintain accurate patient records.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure depending on the unit's specific needs.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required to ensure prompt and effective care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring adequate stock of supplies to support efficient patient care.
  • Transport patients as needed to ensure timely and safe care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Technologist is preferred.
  • Other certifications may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and possess PC skills.
  • Physical abilities include remaining in a stationary position, moving about, moving equipment (lbs), pushing, pulling, and bending.
