Job Overview:
Do you possess experience in assembling automotive components or installing machinery parts? Are you skilled in using tools such as drills, impact drivers, socket wrenches, and auto picks? If you are eager to embark on a career in the automotive sector, this opportunity is for you. RandstadUSA is seeking Assemblers to join our Amports team, a leading automobile import and export organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize drills, impact drills, and wrenches to install automotive parts on vehicles as they arrive and depart the facility.
- Employ hand tools to assist in disassembly when necessary.
- Conduct complex and sometimes advanced assembly of automotive components according to specified guidelines and instructions.
- Select appropriate materials from kit carts to complete standard tasks.
- Use designated inspection tools to evaluate completed work.
- Regularly check products in accordance with company policy to ensure quality; address any identified issues and notify the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, laws, and best practices.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Location:
Baltimore, MD
Compensation:
$18/hr
Work Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:45 PM
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. (light lifting)
Skills:
- Assemble products according to specifications
Dress Code:
- Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be free of holes or rips. Pants should also be without holes or rips. No offensive or suggestive texts and images are allowed. Closed-toe and non-slip footwear is required.
