Job Overview

McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is seeking a skilled Counselor to join our Resource Team as a Floater across various programs and departments. This role requires a valid license or associate license by the NC Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board (e.g. LCAS, CADC) and the ability to work an on-site or hybrid schedule at any of our program locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans for patients in all stages of recovery.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatments as necessary for optimal outcomes.
  • Lead individual and group counseling sessions to support patients and their families.
  • Connect patients with vital support services, such as medical evaluation, mental health, and social support.
  • Participate in clinical supervision sessions to foster professional growth and development.
  • Fulfill any McLeod Centers Counselor role as needed.
Requirements

This role requires a minimum Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field with a CADC certification. A Master's degree with a valid license or associate license LCAS is preferred. Other licensure as a LCMHC, LCSW, and/or LMFT is accepted.
