We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandise Coordinator to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to provide an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving and Merchandising: Create a positive internal and external customer experience by executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor, and train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and efficient stockroom organization.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
- Productivity and Efficiency: Ensure Associates complete tasks and activities according to store plan, prioritize as needed, and monitor productivity of the team, coaching as necessary.
- Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
- Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, capable of multi-tasking, and able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Physical Demands: Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
We offer a competitive starting pay range of $17.00 to $17.50 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
