Mount Alverna Village, a vibrant senior living community, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to residents and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and performing various medical procedures.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Nursing Assistants to ensure a high level of quality care is maintained.
  • Responsible for admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining accurate records.
  • Keep physicians and other healthcare professionals informed of changes in resident conditions, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Respond quickly to emergencies, prioritizing the safety and well-being of residents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including participating in training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse license that permits practice in the state where the associate is hired to work.
  • 1+ years of nursing experience, with a strong focus on gerontology and memory support.
