We are seeking a highly skilled Obesity Medicine Physician to join our team at Nuvance Health. As a key member of our Metabolic & Medical Weight Management Program, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive evaluations and management of obesity as a chronic disease.
Our program is designed to provide a holistic approach to weight management, incorporating genetic, biologic, environmental, social, and behavioral factors. We see both non-surgical and surgical candidates pre- and post-operatively, and our team includes medical directors, staff physicians, advanced practitioners, dieticians, and behavioral health specialists.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive evaluations and management of obesity as a chronic disease
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with obesity and related metabolic conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Board certification/eligibility in IM, FM, or Endocrinology
- Board certification/eligibility in obesity medicine
- Experience/expertise in the field of obesity medicine
- Competency in genetic, biologic, environmental, social, and behavioral factors that contribute to obesity
- Monday-Friday office hours with participation in light after-hours call rotation
- In-person and telemedicine visits
