- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate individual learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress and make necessary adjustments to instructional strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Active/Valid state teaching certification/license in Special Education in IL.
- Prior experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a life skills teaching setting.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
