Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to oversee a diverse portfolio of large-scale, mission-critical projects in commercial real estate and infrastructure for prominent clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive estimates and cost plans, presenting final cost assessments to stakeholders.
- Conduct estimates at various stages, including conceptual, programming, and detailed levels.
- Assist in feasibility studies and prepare procurement documentation.
- Manage all procurement processes, including pre-qualification, bid list creation, bid analysis, and contract documentation.
- Engage in post-contract cost variance analysis and change control processes, escalating significant changes as necessary.
- Oversee cost checks and valuations on larger projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
- Generate monthly post-contract cost reports for client presentations.
- Contribute to value engineering initiatives and negotiate final accounts.
- Maintain communication with clients and consultants throughout all project phases.
- Provide leadership to the cost management team as required, ensuring accountability in all deliverables.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients, reporting findings to management.
- Suggest enhancements to cost management procedures and tools, referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.

Qualifications:
- Extensive technical experience in all aspects of cost management, including pre-contract, post-contract, and final account processes.
- Strong presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and related software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procurement methods.
- Experience advising clients on value management, value engineering, and lifecycle costing.
- Familiarity with various industry sectors and business development practices.

Education and Experience:
- Proven experience in preparing mechanical cost estimates for complex construction projects.
- Experience managing mechanical or MEP estimates for large-scale data centers, high-tech facilities, manufacturing, or commercial real estate projects is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems related to construction projects.
