Job Summary

Infusion for Health is seeking a dynamic Family Nurse Practitioner to lead our Santa Clarita, CA location. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional infusion therapy in a comfortable, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer IV infusions and injections for patients with chronic illnesses, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
  • Prepare biologics and educate patients on medication risks, benefits, and side effects, promoting informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with ordering providers to discuss care plans and communicate with referring providers to ensure documentation meets medication criteria.
  • Verify medical records and diagnostic tests, reviewing pertinent labs and reports to inform treatment decisions.
  • Keep Medical Director and Nursing Director informed of clinical updates and issues, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Manage registered nurses and other clinic staff, addressing any issues that arise and promoting a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or post-master level certificate in pediatrics.
  • Current basic life support/AED & ACLS certification.
  • Minimum two years of experience in hospital, clinic, and/or ambulatory settings caring for children and adults.
  • Must be comfortable handling emergency situations and demonstrate leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and ability to start IVs and manage infusion reactions appropriately.
