Diesel Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States.

Job Summary:

The Diesel Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks, including diesel engines, brakes, and other systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks, including diesel engines, brakes, and other systems.
  • Diagnose and repair complex problems with diesel engines and other systems.
  • Work with all the latest diagnostic software direct from the OEM's, updated shop equipment, and a newer facility.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and meets company quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a full-service shop.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • CDL is preferred, but not required.

Our shop is a single location repair shop with a laid-back, small town, easy-going work environment.
