Floral Designer

Schaaf Floral, a family-owned and operated floral shop, is seeking an experienced Floral Designer to join our team in Fridley, MN.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, plus opportunities for advancement and professional development.

• Design floral arrangements following established recipes and create custom designs within budget parameters.
• Create arrangements for various occasions, including funerals and events.
• Assist walk-in customers with selecting and customizing floral designs tailored to their needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service via phone and in-person interactions.
• Support general shop operations, including flower processing, cooler management, plant care, and cleaning as needed.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in floral design is necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, with a passion for customer service.
• The ability to stand for extended periods and handle the demands of a fast-paced work environment is crucial.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed is required.
