Job Title: Human Resource Director

Green Peak Innovations is seeking a highly skilled Human Resource Director to oversee human resources efforts for our retail stores. This role will focus on recruitment, staffing, performance evaluation programs, and metric tracking based on employee performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement employee relations policies to enhance job satisfaction at all retail stores
  • Collaborate with Retail leadership to plan manpower needs and proactively assist in filling positions
  • Review and recommend improvements to company policies, procedures, and practices
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, employment legislation, and compliance requirements
  • Assist with annual reviews, preparation, and administration of the company wage and salary program
  • Consult with legal counsel as necessary regarding personnel matters
  • Work directly with department managers to address personnel issues
  • Train team leaders on performance evaluation techniques and best practices
  • Evaluate and implement an orientation procedure for onboarding new hires and training them to meet company needs
  • Implement high-performance goals and programs to ensure quality products and services at all retail locations
  • Communicate with employees about compensation, benefits, and other employment aspects
  • Collaborate with Retail and corporate leadership to establish and maintain a learning and development program for retail employees
  • Lead leadership development for managers, emphasizing the importance of individual development plans
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Experience working in human resources in retail
  • Four years of experience in a human resources department
  • At least two years of experience in multi-location (5+ locations) HR Management
  • Strong understanding of the interviewing process, benefits administration, payroll, and other HR functions
  • PHR, SHRM certification a plus
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and planning skills
