Job Summary:

As a seasoned Construction Superintendent with Russo Corporation, you will oversee all site construction activities and supervise field personnel to ensure successful project completion on schedule and within budget. This role requires a strong background in heavy commercial/industrial construction, with experience in water/sewer utility construction being a must. Additional experience in heavy civil construction is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities to achieve project completion on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship that meets assigned plans and specifications.
• Direct field personnel to ensure successful project completion, maintaining a high level of quality workmanship and adhering to good construction safety practices.
• Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.
• Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment using measuring and marking equipment.
• Maintain construction schedules, identify and solve problems, and order materials as necessary throughout the process.
• Record information such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees.
• Prepare, schedule, and supervise completion of phases of the project, including a final punch list.
• Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
• Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and rectify job site hazards immediately.
• Ensure all company employees and contractors adhere to the company safety policy.
• Maintain an organized job site, including the construction office.
