Job Title: Adjunct Faculty, Clinical PsyD

Job Summary:

The Clinical Psychology department at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is seeking highly qualified candidates for adjunct faculty positions to teach in our Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) program. Our faculty members embody a scholar-practitioner model of education, teaching doctoral-level psychology courses and integrating technology into classroom instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses by sharing theoretical and practical knowledge of the subject, and when applicable, encouraging direct application to the workplace within the field of clinical psychology.
  • Active participation in the discussion forum, timely grading of assignments, and providing quality feedback.
  • Being available outside of regular class meetings to address students' questions and concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, statistics, or experimental psychology, depending on the course taught.
  • Graduate of an APA-accredited doctoral program (if degree is in clinical psychology).
  • Certain courses require licensure as a psychologist.
  • Previous teaching experience (3 years preferred).
  • Exemplary professional experience.
  • Engagement in research and scholarship (preferred).
  • Strong commitment to academic excellence, research, community service, and diversity.
