About the Role

This leadership position reports directly to the Branch Manager and plays a key role in maintaining the overall operation of the credit union branch. When the Branch Manager is absent, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Branch Manager
    • Schedule staff and provide guidance on products and services
    • Answer questions on policies and procedures, and rules and regulations
  • Branch Security
    • Open and close the facility, vault, and safe deposit
  • Policies and Procedures
    • Apply company policies and procedures at the branch level
  • Temporary MSR or Head Teller
    • Fulfill peak schedules or fill in for absences on the teller line
    • Schedule, order cash, balance, etc.
  • Act as a Loan Officer
    • Manage loan applications with assigned authority levels
  • Problem-Solving
    • Assist staff and members with account issues
  • Cross-Selling
    • Maintain a cross-selling environment within the branch
  • Leadership by Example
    • Model ethical behavior and lead by example
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • An Associate's Degree is preferred
  • 6 months of member service experience is preferred
