Job Title: Busser

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team at STK Steakhouse. As a Busser, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all beverage stations are maintained to the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Assign service areas to team members at the beginning of each shift.
  • Promptly greet guests as they are seated and provide water to their table.
  • Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for the next course.
  • Clean table tops, chairs, and booths between seatings.
  • Check the floor and clean as required, resetting and arranging tabletops.
  • Clear tables after guests, taking tableware to the dish room and placing silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
  • Inspect assigned restrooms every 30 minutes and clean as needed.
  • Respond appropriately to guest requests, communicating with servers and hostesses to ensure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
  • Assist servers as needed with food delivery, especially during peak periods.
  • Thank guests as they are leaving.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant, as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
  • Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time and lift more than 20 pounds.
  • Be able to carry trays and stack plates.
  • Assist other FOH staff with setting up the restaurant, cleaning, bussing tables, running food, taking food orders, making cocktails, serving guests, assisting host staff, and opening and serving wine, when needed.
  • Perform all duties while following all health department sanitation requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • No consumption of alcoholic beverages while working.
  • Be available to work weekends and holidays.
