Job Summary

The Dietary Aide will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents by preparing and serving meals, snacks, and supplements in a clean and safe environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and supplements to residents in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the kitchen, dining area, and storage areas
- Receive and store supplies, including food, beverages, and equipment
- Assist with food preparation, including cooking, reheating, and plating
- Serve residents in the dining room and deliver food and beverages throughout the facility as needed
- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one year experience in institutional or commercial food preparation preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions

- Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with frequent interruptions
- Exposure to hot equipment, sharp objects, and cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
