Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EEG Technologist to join our team at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. As an EEG Technologist, you will be responsible for performing standard and complex electroneurodiagnostic procedures, including EEG, evoked potentials, nerve conduction velocities, and quantitative sensory testing.

Responsibilities
  • Perform EEG recordings, including wake and sleep, nasopharyngeal studies, bedside, and electrocerebral inactivity (ECI) evaluations.
  • Summarize the patient's neurological status and clinical history and complete the documentation needed for physician interpretation.
  • Record clinical evoked potentials in auditory, visual, and cervical and lumbar somatosensory modalities, as well as nerve conduction velocities and quantitative sensory testing.
  • Monitor EEG during sodium amytal studies, electrocorticography, cortical mapping, and other procedures.
  • Perform long-term epilepsy monitoring to evaluate patients with paroxysmal disturbances of cerebral function.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Neurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent training.
  • 2 years of experience performing EEGs, NCV, and EPs preferred.
  • R.EEG T credential required within 18 months of hire.
