Endoscopy Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Endoscopy to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

• Provide professional surgical nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
• Assist in emergency procedures, as well as elective and scheduled cases, working closely with surgical teams to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
• Serve as a liaison between the surgical team and patients' families, providing emotional support and addressing their concerns.
• Organize supplies needed for patients, administer medications in accordance with physician orders, and evaluate the effectiveness of care in producing desired patient outcomes.
• Administer direct nursing care and/or direct the care of patients, consistent with the nursing care plan, including treatments, medication, hygiene, and monitoring vital signs.

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, with an Associate degree in Nursing or higher.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required.
• Minimum of 1-year previous experience in nursing is required.
