Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Compounding Specialist to join our team at Professional Arts Specialty Pharmacy. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality compounded medications to patients, physicians, and veterinarians.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities, with 0-1 years of experience as a technician. They will be responsible for accurately compounding prescriptions in a timely manner, maintaining daily lab operations, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compound prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct packaging and labeling.
  • Maintain daily lab operations, including upkeeping and inventory management.
  • Participate in the lab's Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Program, attending lab meetings and adhering to best practices.
  • Support lab pharmacist with projects, audits, and chemical ordering as needed.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Louisiana.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
