Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Radiology Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will perform radiology exams and fluoroscopic procedures on patients of all ages while maintaining patient safety. You will work in a dynamic and technologically advanced environment that allows you to discover, learn, and grow.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures (GIs, GUs, pediatrics, arthrograms, spine center).
  • Produce images of optimal quality for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
  • Maintain documentation requirements to ensure that all technical data is entered timely and accurately.
  • Notify management and take proper action to address equipment malfunctions.
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam.
  • Assist with scheduling patient procedures.
  • Monitor and determine priority of patients.
  • Demonstrate care and operation of Radiology equipment according to technical specifications and applications.
  • Assist Radiologist with fluoroscopic, GU, GI, and pediatric procedures.
  • Acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS.
  • Capable of after-hours transmission of images and appropriate paperwork.
  • Report immediately any malfunctions to help desk and PACS Administrator.
  • Process billing via RIS.
  • Provide instruction and mentoring to new hires and Radiology students.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT), in good standing.
  • Current state licensure required prior to employment.
  • (BLS) certification required.
