Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide clerical functions and administrative support to food service programs, including answering telephones, maintaining confidential personnel files, and assisting management staff with preparing confidential employment and labor relations documents.
  • Staffing: Assist with staffing, including finding staff when employees call out on short notice.
  • Record Keeping: Complete and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students eligible for free and reduced-priced lunches, if applicable.
  • Financial Management: Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using a computer, perform daily bank deposit reconciliation, process vendor invoices for payment, and prepare monthly state claim forms for reimbursement.
  • Communication: Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, students' parents, and supervisors.
  • Team Player: Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
