Civil Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in land development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices, as well as experience in land development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and design diverse development projects, including lot layout, grading, stormwater management, and utilities.
  • Work closely with our technical staff to provide top-notch consulting engineering services to land developers.
  • Interact daily with project teams across various disciplines and offices to keep projects on track and moving smoothly.
  • Conduct site evaluations, feasibility studies, and technical assessments.
  • Prepare and review detailed engineering plans, designs, and specifications.
  • Ensure all projects meet local, state, and federal regulations from start to finish.
Requirements:
  • EIT or PE certification.
  • Proven experience in land development, whether you're new to the industry or have several years under your belt. B.S. in Civil Engineering Preferred.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects at once.
