Job Summary
As an Insurance Claims Analyst at Zurich North America, you will play a crucial role in investigating and evaluating low-exposure, low-complexity mechanical breakdown claims. Your primary responsibility will be to determine the cause of failures, review specific contract language, and apply applicable coverage for loss. You will provide technical support to external sales staff and communicate with service shops, dealership personnel, and claimants to resolve claims efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
* Investigate and evaluate low-exposure, low-complexity mechanical breakdown claims
* Determine causes of failures and review specific contract language
* Apply applicable coverage for loss and negotiate costs and labor hours associated
* Provide technical support to external sales staff and communicate with service shops, dealership personnel, and claimants

Requirements
* High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in Automotive repair area OR
* Bachelor's Degree and 1 or more years of experience in Automotive Repair area OR
* Zurich approved Apprenticeship program including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in Automotive repair area AND
* Customer service experience
* Experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in auto industry areas of service repair, auto technology, parts department, machinist, powersports technician, service management or service advisor
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to multi-task
* Organization and time management skills
* Experience with collaboration and working across work groups
* ASE certification

Compensation
The estimated salary for this position is $22-$26 per hour, depending on location and experience. Additional benefits include competitive compensation, comprehensive employee benefits package for employees and eligible dependents, and opportunities for career growth and development. Please note that compensation may exceed the hourly rate listed based on skillset and experience.
