Riverside Research is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to research and development in the national interest. We provide high-end technical services, research, and prototype solutions to some of the country's most challenging technical problems.
We are seeking a part-time Foreign Language Research Analyst specializing in Chinese to work in Dayton, OH. Our analysts work closely with our customers to source, translate, organize, analyze, and summarize information on topics of interest.
The ideal candidate will have excellent language skills, research experience, and strong communication skills. They should also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate and analyze foreign language text, audio files, or video clips.
- Prepare reference documents, draft research papers, and present findings in formal briefings.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance with SCI adjudication.
- Currently enrolled in and completed at least 3 years of instruction towards a Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs, Area Studies, Economics, Intelligence Studies, or any science, technology, engineering or mathematics discipline.
- Intermediate to advanced language proficiency in Chinese.
- Experience with web-based research.
