Key Responsibilities:
- Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in cleaning or janitorial roles.
- Completion of High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Essential Duties:
- Collect and dispose of waste from various areas including theatres, lobbies, restrooms, and concessions.
- Dust, wipe, and polish surfaces such as seats, handrails, walls, and counters.
- Thoroughly clean restrooms, ensuring all sinks, fixtures, and toilets are sanitized.
- Maintain cleanliness of mirrors, windows, and glass surfaces.
- Utilize blowers or vacuums to clean under and between theatre seats effectively.
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors, ensuring proper signage is displayed to prevent accidents.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble food and beverage equipment as necessary.
- Wash dishes following the correct 3-compartment sink procedures.
- Regularly empty trash receptacles.
- Restock supplies in restrooms, janitor closets, and cleaning carts, communicating needs to management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols regarding compactors and maintain cleanliness in the compactor/dumpster area.
- Follow AMC procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all.
- Safely handle all cleaning chemicals in accordance with MSDS guidelines.
- Comply with all AMC security measures.
- Report any damaged or broken equipment to management.
- Observe and communicate any safety or maintenance concerns.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain consistent attendance for all scheduled shifts to ensure timely completion of responsibilities.
- Uphold AMC's business practice standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication abilities.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Time management skills to produce quality work within established time frames.
- Provided by theatre: Black t-shirt, nametag.
