Position Overview:
This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients, addressing a wide range of health issues from simple to complex.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
2. Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
3. Deliver patient care competently and compassionately.
4. Engage with patients and their families to share care plans during hospital stays and at discharge.
5. Inform patients and families about hospital procedures and policies.
6. Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate healthcare personnel.
7. Delegate tasks to support staff as necessary.
General Duties:
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Pediatrics.
- Required Licenses/Certifications: CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support), State License-RN.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift between 50-100 lbs.
