TURN Community Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Art Center Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our human services organization, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance to individuals with developmental disabilities in various art forms, including dance, music, singing, theatre, painting, and sculpting.
  • Assist with behavior management and daily living activities, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Use effective teaching and mentoring techniques to support individuals in their day-to-day schedules, modeling appropriate social skills and behaviors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, promptly reporting any concerns about health or safety.

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience in any field of art
  • A heart for serving people with developmental disabilities
