Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Stillwater Hospice. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-focused care to terminally ill patients and their families.

Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing safe personal care and support to patients in our Hospice Home and in the field. You will work under the direction of the Patient Care Director and/or RN Case Manager to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe personal care and support to patients in our Hospice Home and in the field.
  • Work under the direction of the Patient Care Director and/or RN Case Manager to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  • Document patient care and progress in accordance with our policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of 105 hours of the CNA certification program (need a copy of certificate).
  • Current/Active CNA license.
  • Minimum six (6) months (one [1] year preferred) CNA/HHA experience within the last twenty-four (24) months in the home health, long-term care, or hospital setting.
  • RN nursing students who have successfully completed courses with a grade of "C" or better and who currently possess an active CNA License will be said to have met the above qualifications.
