Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Pipeline Integrity team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with a strong background in pipeline facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for determining client requirements, acquiring detailed understanding of project electrical and instrumentation design requirements, and providing hands-on engineering while mentoring less experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of various station studies/calculations, including electrical system load studies, short-circuit analysis, relay coordination, arc flash studies, and other calculations.
  • Contribution to the refinement of E/I departmental procedures and company specifications as a member of Senior E/I leadership team.
  • Utilization of specific software packages, including ETAP, SKM, and Easy Power, for electrical system modeling and scenario studies.
  • Preparation of material requisitions, including development of equipment specifications and instrumentation data sheets.
  • Contribution to the development of client proposals and project cost estimates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related discipline from an ABET accredited college or university.
  • Professional Engineering License required.
  • Excellent oral communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and occasionally in excess of 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to travel to client offices and job sites as dictated by project requirements.
