About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A CDL driver to join our team at Franjo Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting heavy construction materials and equipment to various job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain a Class A CDL vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Transport heavy construction materials and equipment to job sites within a 90-mile radius of Pittsburgh, PA.
  • Ensure all loads are properly secured and delivered on time.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse managers and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all applicable traffic laws and regulations, including ICC and DOT guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial truck driving, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds and operate heavy equipment.
  • Proficiency in using GPS and other routing systems.
  • Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful with excellent communication skills.
