CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Washington, DC. As a Family Nurse Practitioner at CVS Health, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients in a fast-paced retail setting.

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to provide primary and family evidence-based care to our patients. As a Family Nurse Practitioner at CVS Health, you will be responsible for providing accurate assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and management of health problems, as well as health counseling and disposition planning.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and family evidence-based care to patients
  • Order and administer immunizations and injections
  • Perform routine examinations and health screenings
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care
  • Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being
Requirements
  • Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
  • Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to speak and write in additional languages (dependent on market)
