Mechanical Assembly Specialist

PrideStaff is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Specialist for a Manufacturing company in Hemet. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical and electromechanical assembly, with a strong understanding of production specifications and verbal instructions.
- Pay Range: $20.00 per hour depending on experience
- This is a Temp to Hire position
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm, with occasional overtime and Saturdays, OT is not guaranteed but is required when scheduled
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical assembly of electromechanical assemblies, subassemblies, mechanisms, and systems in accordance with production/engineering specifications, sketches and/or verbal instructions
- Use tools and fixtures for detailed locating and positioning of parts
- Adjust, align, and tighten using an air vise, hand tools, pneumatic tools, and drill presses
- Keep track of inventory in work area, and notify supervisor when material is needed
- Identify and replace or report defective subassemblies
- Conduct simple go-no-go testing
- Observe and follow all safety regulations and company policies
- Other Responsibilities:
- Operate powered industrial truck (forklift) to load and unload material
- Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work area
- Perform duties as assigned to ensure the success of projects, individuals, and the company
- Support improvement activities (VES)
- Requirements:
- High School or equivalent preferred
- Experience: 2+ Years mechanical / electromechanical assembly
