PrideStaff is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Specialist for a Manufacturing company in Hemet. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical and electromechanical assembly, with a strong understanding of production specifications and verbal instructions.

  • Pay Range: $20.00 per hour depending on experience
  • This is a Temp to Hire position
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm, with occasional overtime and Saturdays, OT is not guaranteed but is required when scheduled
  1. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical assembly of electromechanical assemblies, subassemblies, mechanisms, and systems in accordance with production/engineering specifications, sketches and/or verbal instructions
  • Use tools and fixtures for detailed locating and positioning of parts
  • Adjust, align, and tighten using an air vise, hand tools, pneumatic tools, and drill presses
  • Keep track of inventory in work area, and notify supervisor when material is needed
  • Identify and replace or report defective subassemblies
  • Conduct simple go-no-go testing
  • Observe and follow all safety regulations and company policies
  1. Other Responsibilities:
  • Operate powered industrial truck (forklift) to load and unload material
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work area
  • Perform duties as assigned to ensure the success of projects, individuals, and the company
  • Support improvement activities (VES)
  1. Requirements:
  • High School or equivalent preferred
  • Experience: 2+ Years mechanical / electromechanical assembly
