We are currently seeking a Project Director to lead our Project Management department. The ideal candidate will possess over 8 years of experience in roles such as Senior Mechanical Project Manager or Mechanical Project Director. Key Responsibilities for the Project Director include:
- Overseeing project financial performance and ensuring regular reporting to executive management.
- Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders including clients, general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Continuously assessing project schedules, work plans, and labor productivity as the project evolves.
- Leading teams on intricate mechanical projects involving HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems from inception to completion.

- Collaborating with the Design and Engineering Team to formulate strategies for project success.
- Reviewing construction documents and providing essential information to the project management team.
- Coordinating project meetings with both internal and external teams.
- Guiding the development of advanced project schedules for contracted scopes.
- Mentoring and developing team members to enhance performance and achieve team objectives.
- Participating actively in strategic planning sessions and initiatives.
- Working with other leaders to anticipate workforce needs for ongoing and future projects.
Essential Qualifications for the Project Director role include:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Mechanical Construction Project Management (HVAC, Piping, and Plumbing).
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience in Construction Management.
- Proficiency in construction management software (Microsoft Office Suite, ProCore, BlueBeam, P6 preferred; Viewpoint preferred; Autodesk is a plus) with strong overall computer skills.
- Demonstrated experience in estimating and the ability to apply this knowledge for change orders and resource-loaded scheduling.
- Capability to interpret and understand construction documents.
- A strong personal commitment to achieving long-term and meaningful objectives.
