Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver compassionate nursing care as a Practical Nursing Specialist in various post-acute care settings
  • Monitor and assess residents' physical and mental health, including vital signs
  • Conduct resident intakes, documenting medical histories and health concerns
  • Assist in the administration and verification of medications, tracking their usage and effects
  • Foster a safe and comfortable environment for residents
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Support the setup of IVs, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures
  • Manage medical supplies and ensure proper inventory levels
  • Adhere to and follow resident care plans diligently
  • Collaborate with staff in training and orienting new team members
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current state license to practice as a Practical Nursing Specialist
  • Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing educational program
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
