The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to join our team. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and production of roadway-related construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe work environment for all team members.
- Organize and plan work with the Superintendent, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting project deadlines.
- Direct oversight of time sheets, labor, and equipment, as well as daily reports and quantity tracking.
- Monitor and maintain crew productivity and goals, enforcing quality control and company safety policies.
- Follow project construction processes to ensure timely completion of work.
- Conduct daily huddles, stretching exercises, and weekly Toolbox Talks with the crew.
- Provide job hazard analysis prior to new work activities and develop material handling plans with the Superintendent.
- Ensure delivery receipts are collected and submitted to field engineers.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Foreman in roadway-related construction.
- Knowledge of calculating and setting grades, roadway construction equipment, and forming systems.
- Valid driving license and OSHA 10 certification.
