Job Summary:

The Electrophysiology APP works in collaboration with the physician in the hospital-based inpatient setting, generally working with a stable patient population. Performs minimally invasive procedures, including those related to hospitalists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with physicians to provide high-quality patient care
  • Perform minimally invasive procedures, including those related to hospitalists
  • Work with a stable patient population in the hospital-based inpatient setting
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
  • Current RN license and maintenance of this license from the Ohio Board of Nursing
  • Current COA and maintenance of this license from the Ohio Board of Nursing
  • Current Certification and maintenance of this Certification from a national certifying body (ANCC, AANP, etc)
  • Graduation from an accredited CNP program (Nursing and graduate of an accredited post-Master's Nurse Practitioner Program)
  • BLS Certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
  • Three to five years clinical nursing practice in the acute care setting
  • Requires full prescriptive authority within two years of employment
Work Environment:

Day shift, 40 hours per week, in the HVP Mansfield department.
