About the Role

The University of California, Riverside is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SWIFT Clinician to join our Health Well-Being and Safety (HWS) division. As a key member of our team, you will provide professional mental health crisis assessment, treatment, and prevention services to support our commitment to campus safety and student well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis intervention services, including on- and off-site interventions, to students in need.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including Campus Safety Responders, to ensure a co-response model for crisis situations.
  • Help students navigate resources on- and off-campus, including post-hospitalization/discharge support.
  • Work outside of traditional work hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our students.
Requirements
  • Licensure in California is required to begin work in this position.
  • Experience with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention services is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with students, faculty, and staff.
