Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Smart Grid Deployment Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX. As a key member of our SGIT Deployment team, you will be responsible for deploying and configuring Schneider Electric ADMS and infrastructure solutions for customers in North America.

Responsibilities
  1. Technical role in a project team during execution of ADMS solutions for customers in North America
  2. Accountable for deployment and configuration of Schneider Electric ADMS and Infrastructure needed
  3. Read and understand available project documentation (SoW, RFP, ToC)
  4. Develop technical documentation related to ADMS solution design, deployment plan and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge
  • Experience with IT systems, including networking, server, storage and applications
  • Experience in design, implementation and maintenance of Microsoft platform and Infrastructure products i.e. Active Directory, Group Policies, Windows enterprise desktop/server operating systems
  • Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare, etc.)
  • Experience with monitoring systems
  • Strong communication skills with ability to analyze, explain technical issues to lay audiences
  • Team player with experience in cross-team collaboration to ensure successful delivery of solutions
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
