Job SummaryAs a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for testing by administering radioactive drugs. Working under the supervision of a physician, you will help patients understand the procedure, prepare and deliver radioactive drugs, operate equipment, and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities- Administer radioactive drugs to patients for diagnostic testing
- Prepare patients for testing by explaining procedures and obtaining necessary information
- Operate equipment to administer and monitor radioactive drugs
- Maintain accurate records of patient testing and results
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure patient care and safety
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a relevant setting and specialty
- ARRT/NMTCB Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
