Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - 18 Beds
Patient demographics include chest pain, congestive heart failure, renal disorders, diabetic ketoacidosis, gastrointestinal diseases, pulmonary conditions, and standard critical care patients. Nursing competencies required include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification, CRRT, and ICU nursing care.
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) - 21 Beds
Patient demographics include chest pain, congestive heart failure, renal disorders, diabetic ketoacidosis, gastrointestinal diseases, pulmonary conditions, and general intermediate care patients. Nursing competencies required include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification, and foundational knowledge of intermediate nursing care.
All units cater to a diverse patient population, providing numerous opportunities for professional growth and experience. You will enhance your skills and have access to educational programs offering CEUs.
We encourage our nurses to participate in shared governance councils, unit-based councils, and various committees to ensure your voice is always valued.

The staff nurse delivers nursing care to patients across the lifespan, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. He/she operates within the framework of the organization's policies and procedures while demonstrating professional development and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for upholding standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities among all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Required:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Minimum Experience Required:
New graduates of a nursing program are eligible
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law:
Current Georgia Registered Nurse License or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification is mandatory.
Additional Qualifications:
For PRN positions:
One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred
Bachelor's degree is preferred
Advanced certification in the area of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
