Job Title: RV Parts Manager

Blue Compass RV is seeking a highly skilled RV Parts Manager to oversee the daily workflow of our warehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling and organizing staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts, hiring and training new warehouse employees, and reconciling parts received against invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse, ensuring efficient operations and effective use of resources.
  • Schedule and organize staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts, including weekends.
  • Hire and train new warehouse employees, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Reconcile parts received against invoices, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform inventory counts and work with the Parts Manager to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Advise management on inventory levels and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, providing timely and constructive feedback to employees.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed, in accordance with company policy.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse policies and procedures, with the ability to apply them in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in inventory management software.
  • Ability to work weekends and lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Excellent organizational and sequencing skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to resolve issues in a professional and tactful manner.
