Job Overview

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement inclusive curricula that emphasize diversity and promote academic achievement.
  • Collaborate with families and Special Education teams to create 504 and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that offer appropriate accommodations and modifications.
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment where students feel empowered to become self-guided learners.
Special Education Specific Responsibilities
  • Analyze and respond to trends in student work samples and assessments to ensure compliance with Individualized Education Plans.
  • Develop and implement strategies to differentiate instruction for all learners in the classroom.
  • Teach pull-out, push-in, small group, and one-on-one instruction to support students with diverse learning needs.
School Culture
  • Build positive relationships with students to ensure they feel seen, loved, and heard.
  • Partner with students' families to provide appropriate resources and support their child's learning needs.
  • Engage in practice-based professional development, mentorship, and coaching sessions to enhance instructional skills.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary range: $57,000 to $89,000.
