We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team at Master Electronics. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting our digital environment and countering cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor security alerts and events to identify potential security incidents
  • Analyze security logs and reports to detect and respond to abnormal activities
  • Utilize security information and event management (SIEM) tools to proactively detect and respond to security incidents
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents promptly and effectively

  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential weaknesses in systems
  • Collaborate with system administrators and IT teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities

  • Provide recommendations for improving the organization's overall security posture

  • Manage and configure security tools, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
  • Stay current on emerging threats and technologies to recommend and implement effective security solutions
  • Maintain detailed documentation of security incidents, investigations, and remediation efforts
  • Update and create documentation for security procedures and guidelines
  • Work closely with IT teams, system administrators, and other relevant departments to ensure a cohesive approach to cybersecurity
  • Participate in cross-functional teams for security-related projects
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is usually required
  • Industry certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, including incident response and vulnerability management
  • Understanding of cyber security concepts such as cryptography, network security, and security protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with security and compliance regulations, such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and NIST
  • Prior experience in incident response, investigations and risk assessment are highly valued
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java or C++
  • Effective communication skills for conveying complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders
