Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the coordination of care, ensuring timely and accurate completion of documentation, and adhering to infection control measures and OSHA guidelines. They will also communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, demonstrating commitment to professional growth and competency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide coordinated occupational therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Participate in the coordination of care to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation.
  • Adhere to infection control measures and OSHA guidelines.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of occupational therapy assistant.
  • Current state license to practice occupational therapy.
  • One year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred.
  • Therapy skills as set forth in the Therapy Practice Act and other regulatory agencies.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Proof of current CPR certification.
  • Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.
