Job Summary

Join the Gillman Automotive Group as a Service Warranty Administrator, responsible for processing warranty claims in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process warranty claims for franchise or distributor clients, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Verify warranty criteria with factory or distributor, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Reconcile warranty receivables with payments, posting credits to the computer system.
  • Resubmit rejected claims promptly or obtain authorization to write them off.
  • Follow up on outstanding claims, ensuring timely payment.
  • Track warranty parts, tagging them with repair order numbers, replacement dates, and disposal dates.
  • Arrange for parts shipment to the factory or distributor, or for scrapping.
  • File and maintain service records as required by the warrantor.
  • Stay informed of factory recalls and bulletins.
  • Assist with cashier and telephone duties as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the fixed operations manager or controller.
