About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at MUSC Health Charleston. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly
  • Monitor patients during MRI procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current ARRT certification in MRI
  • 1+ year of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
